AutoBugs
Chrome MV3 extension for browser control and QA automation — record flows, drive the page, and keep a functional bible of browser-automation patterns.

Overview
AutoBugs is a Chrome MV3 extension for browser control and QA automation. Operators record flows, drive the DOM, and keep a functional bible of automation patterns derived from the v2.9.5 product line.
Challenge
QA still clicks the same production paths by hand, while Playwright tests live in a repo the business never opens. Browser automation needed to sit in the tools QA already uses.
Solution
An MV3 extension that records and replays control, plus a written functional bible so the next agent or engineer does not reverse-engineer the click model from scratch.
What we built
- Chrome Manifest V3 extension
- Recorded click and flow capture
- DOM highlighting and replay
- Functional bible for browser-automation patterns
- QA-oriented control, not a generic scraper
Outcomes
- Flows live where testers already work — the browser
- Patterns documented so automation is repeatable
- MV3-ready rather than a deprecated MV2 experiment
Stack
Recorded flows | Browser control | QA automation
