Overview
NTPOS Resta is a browser-based restaurant and cafe POS built for shops that run dine-in, takeaway, and delivery in the same shift. Each tenant gets its own login link, live PostgreSQL data, and a floor that is not tied to a single till PC. Inventory deducts on sale, market credit (khata) stays in sync, and a WhatsApp Cloud assistant can take menu questions, table bookings, and order handoffs.
Challenge
Independent restaurants still run mixed order types on paper, WhatsApp, and a desktop till that dies when the PC does. Kitchen, delivery, and credit ledgers drift apart, and owners cannot open another branch without cloning a machine image.
Solution
We built a multi-tenant SaaS POS: super-admin creates shops, each shop gets a unique URL, and FOH tools share one PostgreSQL backend. Order types, partial payments, bill print, stock ledgers, and udhar/wasool credit live in the same tenant. An in-repo MCP server exposes shop tools to agents; WhatsApp connects per shop in Settings.
